Nao Hanashiro

Nao Hanashiro is a member of Cu Clu, an eight-member female idol group under the concept of "Cute & Cool." The group's name combines these concepts with wordplay meaning "the era comes suddenly." Hanashiro gained individual recognition when she was selected as Miss Weekly Young Magazine in August 2024 during the Miss Magazine competition.

Cu Clu began activities in 2023 following project initiation in February and member announcement in April. The group made its stage debut at the large-scale idol festival Kabukichō UP GATE in May 2023. The group has since participated in numerous idol festivals and circuit events across Japan, establishing a presence in the competitive idol performance circuit.

Since 2024, Cu Clu has expanded its activities significantly, including one-man live concerts, regional tours, and appearances at major idol festivals nationwide. In 2025, the group transferred management from NexStreet to ArcJewel. Hanashiro has participated in radio programming and continues performing with the group at festivals and dedicated live events through 2026.
