Ami Tokitō is a Japanese singer, actor, and tarento. She won the Miss Magazine 2005 award and debuted musically in 2006. Though often assumed to be affiliated with Hello! Project due to her musical collaborations with Tsunku, she has not been a member of that group. Her work spans television dramas, film, voice acting, stage performances, and roles as a DJ, radio personality, and MC.
Following her music debut in April 2006 with "Sentimental Generation," Tokitō appeared in dramas including Sumire 16 Years!! and Railroad Daughters, achieving her first leading role in the latter (2008). Her film debut came in 2010 with a role in Coach: The 40-Year-Old Ice Skater. She began theatrical work in 2006 with a Tsunku-directed production and became active as a DJ from 2009.
Tokitō moved to Sun Music agency in 2011 following her earlier affiliation with Shining Will. She designed and produced the eyeglass brand "Laue" (2009–2011). She continues to work as a radio personality and MC. She has pursued disaster preparedness advocacy and holds the qualification of disaster prevention counselor.
